hayley. hayley exley hat zu mir einmal gesagt 'never cry on your own'. als ich in england war, mitten in der menge, auf einem gig, und doch so allein. heimweh, einsamkeit, alles. sie hat mich gesucht, als ich weg war, hat mich in den arm genommen und versucht zu trösten.

hayley war ein seltsamer mensch. hat die leute angelogen, sachen aufgebauscht, sich gemobbt gefühlt, schließlich die schule gewechselt. nichtsdestotrotz war sie mir immer eine liebe freundin und war da, als es mir verdammt dreckig ging. seitdem spukt dieser satz in meinem kopf.

oft genug seitdem war ich allein mit meinen problemen. aber irgendwo.. never cry on your own. für mich birgt dieser satz sowohl grund zur hoffnung als auch zur verzweiflung, die aufforderung, sich jemanden zu suchen, mit dem man seine sorgen teilen kann, als auch, gefälligst keinen grund zum deprimiert sein zu haben, wenn man niemanden hat, an dessen schulter man sich ausheulen kann. paradox. und doch ist dieser satz inzwischen einer der wichtigsten meines lebens geworden.
